Privacy Policy
Ullim - Singing Bowl & Moktak
thinkingcat (“we”) respects the privacy of everyone who uses the Ullim app (the “App”). This policy explains what information the App handles and how.
1. Personal information we collect
We do not collect any information that identifies you, such as your name, phone number or email address. The App has no sign-up or login, and it does not send your information to our servers.
2. Information stored only on your device
For your convenience the App stores the following on your device only. It is never sent to us and is removed when you delete the App.
- The sound you chose (singing bowl or moktak), the moktak style, volume and haptics on/off
- Auto-play duration and interval settings
- How many times you struck today and in total
- Which announcements you have read
3. What the App checks over the internet
To check for new versions and announcements, the App downloads a configuration file from our website (studio.thinkingcatworks.com). It sends no personal information or in-app records. As with any web request, your IP address may briefly appear in server access logs; we do not use these logs to identify you.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows banner ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC, at the bottom of the screen. To serve ads and measure their performance, Google may automatically collect and process:
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
- Device information (model, OS version, language) and approximate location derived from your IP address
- Ad interactions such as impressions and clicks, and error and diagnostic data
On iOS, your advertising identifier is used for personalized ads only if you tap “Allow” on the App Tracking Transparency prompt; otherwise you see non-personalized ads. In regions that require consent, such as the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the App asks for your consent on first launch, and you can change your choice at any time under “Privacy options” in the App’s settings. This information is processed by Google, not by us. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Opting out of personalized ads
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and turn off tracking for the App.
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads (or Privacy > Ads), and delete or reset your Advertising ID.
6. Sharing, processors and international transfers
We do not share your personal information with third parties or engage processors to handle it. The advertising information in section 4 is collected directly by Google LLC (United States) under its own policies and may be processed in the United States and other countries.
7. Retention
We hold no personal information. Information on your device is removed when you delete the App, and advertising information processed by Google follows Google’s retention policies.
8. Children
The App is not directed at children under 14 (under 13 in the United States), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Your rights
You may ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or stop processing your personal information. We hold none; advertising information can be managed as described in section 5 or in your Google account settings. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have additional rights, which you can exercise by contacting us below.
